Luminous Power Technologies, a leading home electrical company in India, is transforming its image of being just an inverter battery company to a company that consists of a vast range of home electrical products.
Speaking to DH, Vipul Sabharwal, Managing Director of Luminous Power Technologies, said, “We have exciting product launches lined up in both power back up as well as home electrical genres. While the high capacity home UPS/inverters (to run heavy loads such as ACs) will be the focus area in the power backup segment, we have an array of launches lined up in both fans as well as wiring devices (or commonly referred to as modular switch) categories.”
“By entering into home electrical products, we are expecting to achieve double-digit growth going forward,” said Sabharwal. The company has closed FY 2015-16 at Rs 2,582.43 crore.
Talking about future plans, Sabharwal said, “Luminous has embarked on a journey from being the most trusted brand to the most loved brand in its category. That is why we have started to use emotional quotient in our current campaigns and will continue to do so in future as well. While TV will remain the most prominent medium to reach out to our audience in upcoming campaigns, we will be further investing to leverage digital domain, as well as increase our on-ground presence.”
The company on Monday launched two new range of fans called Copter and Warrior, priced at Rs 3,040 and Rs 2,890, respectively.
