Gang held for plotting robbery

According to police, Vinod (23) of Tannery Road, Rajendra alias Appu (30) of Sahakarnagar, B N Mohan (36) of Shidlaghatta taluk in Chikkballapur district, and Solomon (31) of K G Halli were arrested near NGEF around 3.30 am. Two revolvers, one pistol, nine live bullets, two machetes, and two cars were recovered from them.

Vinod is the prime suspect in the murder of one Palani on Hosmat Hospital premises in 2006. He is also said to have been involved in the murder of one Venkatesh in Jayanagar.
His name also figures in the rowdy sheet of K G Halli police station.  Rajendra alias Appu is the prime suspect in the Bullet Ravi murder case. The third arrested, Mohan is believed to be an associate of gangster D D Ravi. He faces a cheating case in Gujarat and is suspected to be an accomplice in an attempted murder in Shidlaghatta.
