The JD(S) state president H D Kumaraswamy has said that his party is not supporting any party in the by-elections to the Nanjungud and Gundlupet assembly constituencies.
In a statement in Bengaluru on Friday, the JD(S) leader said that BJP leader R Ashoka on Thursday had said that the JD(S) has been indirectly supporting the BJP in the polls. But the JD(S) has not entered into any understanding with any party, Kumaraswamy said. The JD(S) has not fielded candidates in both the constituencies. However, rebel JD(S) MLAs are likely to campaign for the Congress.
