A 24-year-old woman has accused her dance trainer of raping her. Acting on her complaint, police arrested the suspect — identified as Christopher (35). A court has remanded him in judicial custody.
Christopher, a resident of Indiranagar, runs a dance academy at 1st Cross in Kalyan Nagar. The woman had enrolled at the academy and knew him since 2014, police said. A source in the police claimed that the woman was in a relationship with Christopher for the past six months.
Her parents were aware of that. She, however, quarrelled with him recently. He then asked her not to come to the academy. On Sunday, the woman and her father arrived at the Banaswadi police station and filed a complaint of rape against Christopher, the source said.
