The Rest of India (RoI) led by India fullback V Raghunath will clash with Karnataka and Coorg Regiment teams in exhibition matches to mark the inauguration of annual family hockey festival at Napoklu on Monday.
The 21st edition of the tourney is being hosted by Biddathanda family this time.

RoI team: V R Raghunath (capt), Jagadeep Dayal, Nirmal Chinnappa, Vikramkanth, V S Vinay, A B Cheyyanna, K S Appanna, K P Somaiah, G N Prithviraj, P Somanna, P L Thimmanna, M Nitin Thimmaiah, K A Neelesh, K M Somanna, P R Ayyappa, M G Punacha, P Muthappa and B J Karyappa.
Karnataka: J P Kusha (Captain), Sharat Somanna (goalkeeper), K T Karyappa, Sonu Ponnanna, K K Bharat, H S Abhishek, Siraj, M S Bopanna, Ratan Muththanna, B B Machaiah, K T Kunjappa, Abharan, Rahil, Honnooru Swamy and Sheshegowda.
The details of Coorg Regiment team has not been announced yet, according to the director of hockey festival committee Biddathanda S Thammaiah.
CD released
MLC Veena Acchaiah released a CD brought out by Kodava Sahitya Academy on the hockey tournaments in Kodagu, reports DHNS from Madikeri.
Speaking on the occasion, she lauded the efforts of the academy in creating awareness about the culture and tradition of the Kodavas.
Senior writer Monnanda Shobha Subbaiah said the Kodavas should accept the challenges and come forward.
The CD has some interesting information and history of Kodava family hockey tournaments, which is being organised for the last 21 years.
