The state government has decided to adapt the training module followed by the Bavarian police force in Germany.

“We have decided to follow the technology and training module used by the Bavarian police in crime prevention and women safety,” Home Minister G Parameshwara told reporters here on Tuesday after a meeting with the parliamentary delegation of Bavaria, a state in Southeastern Germany.

“We discussed extending cooperation in cyber crime and safe city areas with the Bavarian government. Karnataka has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Bavarian government in commerce, tourism, industry and information technology,” he added.

Both the governments have agreed to strengthen bilateral ties and extend cooperation in other areas, he said.

Home Minister’s adviser Kempaiah and DG&IGP RK Dutta were also present.
