<p> A local court here has dismissed a petition filed by an advocate accusing actor and former MP Ramya of sedition.<br /><br />Ramya had said that Pakistan is not hell and there are good people in Pakistan. <br />Katnamane Vittal Gowda, a lawyer, had filed a private complaint in the local court last year. The court dismissed the complaint on March 27, it is learnt.<br /><br />‘Lack of evidence’<br /><br />The court said that there was no sufficient evidence to prove the case which was registered under Section 124-A of IPC. It noted that Pakistan has not been considered as an ‘enemy nation’ officially and Ramya’s statements do not amount to an act of sedition.<br /><br />Meanwhile, Vittal Gowda, said that he would challenge the order in the higher court.<br /><br /></p>
