Summer is here and it can get tricky to protect your body against the blistering heat waves. Jojoba oil can be magical for your skin as it imitates skin oils. Here’s how you can use jojoba oil to keep you cool this summer:

For dry skin: The lack of lipids in the skin result in dehydrated or dry skin, which gets worse in the summertime. Apply jojoba oil to your face in generous quantities. Then gently soak a towel in warm water and pat your skin with it. It will deeply nourish your skin, leaving it hydrated for a long time.

For stress relief: Jojoba oil, especially lavender jojoba oil, has a calming, earthy, lightly sweet and a fresh floral scent. It is widely beloved for its relaxing and balancing effects. Pour a few drops on your pillow and it can help improve your sleep.

A substitute for make-up: Jojoba oil is light on the skin and acts as a shiner for your face. It moisturises the skin without making it greasy.

For frizzy hair: Jojoba oil softens your hair, protecting your tresses against unwanted moisture, and preventing frizzy hair. At the same time, it works as a natural replacement for the essential moisture of the scalp and strands, which is often taken away by the harsh chemicals of shampoos.

Lip protection: Almost every lip care product contains artificial fragrances and flavours, which can make chapped lips even drier. Use jojoba oil to pamper the delicate skin of lips, and protect it from the heat of the sun.

For acne: Jojoba oil can penetrate deep into the skin and helps clear out sebum deposits, thus giving you a clearer skin.

Sun tan removal: Jojoba oil acts like a shield and helps in curing sunburnt skin. The fastest and safest cure for tanned skin is to apply jojoba oil on the tanned areas.
