Malabar Gold & Diamonds has launched a new campaign that offers free honeymoon trips to 500 newlywed couples to Singapore or Malaysia, to mark the fifth edition of its flagship ‘Brides of India’ campaign.

The offer is valid for those who buy the glittering merchandise from any of the Malabar Gold showrooms spread across the country till June 25, and tie the knot before July 31. The offer is available to all couples who buy wedding jewellery from Malabar Gold showrooms across India except Tamil Nadu.

The campaign is fast gaining acceptance among aspiring brides across the country. The multimedia integrated campaign has reached millions through social media and other mediums within a few days of its launch, clocking 10.2 million hits on social media platforms. The campaign combines the architecture of the traditional craft of jewellery making with what is trending in the marketplace, thus making a niche market for the products, giving brides the best of both generations.

The ‘Brides of India’ series takes jewellery lovers back in time to rediscover the historic Indian jewellery craft and reinvent and recreate them to fit the current trend. The binary of the campaign is that it recreates the exquisite ornaments that existed during five regal ages of India – Gupta, Vijayanagara, Mughal, Colonial Era and the early 20th Century — with a contemporary touch on a single platform. The company launched the ‘Brides of India’ collection, promising a royal wedding for every Indian bride.

The latest bridal collection under the ‘Brides of India’ banner is inspired by the Indian ornament tradition spanning over 2,000 years. The collection has been crafted by Malabar Gold & Diamonds, after years of diligent research of the ancient jewellery-making art and craft, with the aid of historians, experts and artisans. The collection comes in a variety of gold, diamonds, gemstones and pearls and covers design styles of each era in its variations. As part of the campaign, Malabar Gold & Diamonds will be publishing a coffee table book featuring royal Indian weddings.
