Trisha Hegde of Prakash Padukone Badminton Academy (PPBA) enjoyed a great time at the PSM State-ranking Junior and Sub-junior badminton tournament winning matches in comfortable manner.
In the under-17 girls singles, Trisha, the top seed, beat Roshni Venkat of I-Sports 21-8, 21-11 to move into the semifinals.
In the under-19 singles tie, the PPBA trainee got the better of Risha R Shetty of Shuttle Fit 21-8, 21-8 in the pre-quarters tie.
Meanwhile in the boys under-19 segment, top seed Nikhil Shyam Sriram of PPBA beat Sanketh M Daithota, of JPBA 21-10, 21-10 to book his place in the quarterfinals.
