<p>The Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) on Wednesday recovered 16 acres of land in survey number 319 near the Varthur lake in the city. <br /><br />The officials, with the help of the Bangalore Development Authority police and the local tahsildar, cleared unauthorised sheds. <br /><br />They also demolished a road along side the lake and recovered the encroached property and fenced the <br />area, according to an official release.<br /> </p>
