The Karnataka High Court on Friday issued an emergent notice to the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation and the Regional Labour Commissioner, Central.
Justice Raghavendra S Chauhan issued notice with regard to a petition filed by the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Employee Union seeking the quashing of the order by BMRCL refusing to recognise the union.
According to the petitioner, BMRCL has refused to recognise BMRCL union on the ground that some of the members of the union are supervisory personnel and that they don't come under the law.
The union has filed a petition for directing BMRCL to accord recognition to the union.
