9 newborns die in ICU at Ahmedabad

In a grim reminder of the Gorakhpur deaths, nine newborn children died on the same day at a government civil hospital in Ahmedabad on Saturday.

The children were reportedly born premature and were underweight, and breathed their last at the neonatal ICU.

While four of them were born at the hospital, five others had been shifted there from other hospitals.
