Principal thrashed

It is alleged that Jawahar Navodaya School Principal J Jayaprakash used to call hostel girls to his house at odd hours.

A ninth standard girl complained to her parents that the principal had misbehaved with her. At the same time, other students too complained against the principal.

On Friday morning, when the principal arrived for a meeting, parents and members of a Kannada outfit questioned him.

After denying the charges for a while, he confessed to having misbehaved with the girls. On hearing this, the public thrashed him and tore his shirt. They also took him in a procession. Later women pourakarmikas too thrashed him with broomsticks.
