Hassan City police have registered a case against minister A Manju on the charge of violation of the moral code of conduct.
Based on instructions of deputy commissioner Rohini Sindhuri Dasari, a complaint was lodged with the police.
The minister has been booked under IPC Section 188 (disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant).
Manju was charged with using the government building even after the moral code of conduct came into effect.
The deputy commissioner, who is also election officer, had slapped a notice on the minister seeking his clarification.
