‘Madarangi’ (Kannada)

Directed by Mallikarjuna Muthalgeri and produced by Nagappa, Madarangi is a crime-based love story. It stars debutant Krishna, who gained acting experience through working on the small screen.

He was last seen in the series Krishna Rukmini. The film also stars Sushma Raj and Naksha Shetty. Anoop Seelin has composed the music for the film.

‘Naavu Gelayaru’ (Kannada)

Director-cum-producer G K Mudduraj’s Naavu Gelayaru is a film based on nomadic children, who need education. How these nomadic children develop the interest in getting educated and bond with each other is how the movie unfolds. The children’s film will see close to 20 child artistes including Praful, Prithvi, Thejas, Anil, Kiran, Rohit, Chandra, Ninasam Ashwath, Krishne Gowda, Meghana, Ajnanappa, Maruthiraj, Govinda Rao, Apoorva and others. V Manohar has scored the music and Ramnarayan has lent the lyrics.

‘Bul Bul’ (Kannada)

After Krantiveera Sangoli Rayanna, ‘Challenging Star’ Darshan has geared up for his next — Bul Bul, which also stars ‘Rebel Star’ Ambarish, Sharath and newbie Rachita Ram.

Directed by M D Sridhar, Bul Bul is the remake of the Telugu film ‘Darling’, which starred Prabhas and Kajal Aggarwal in lead roles. The movie talks about friendship and love.

Watch out for Ambarish and Darshan, who are all set to play father and son for the first time. Produced by Dinakar Toogudeep, the music for the film is composed by V Harikrishna.
