JOIN USAccording to DIG of the agency Lakshmi Narayana, CBI will file the fourth chargesheet on overseas fund diversions by Raju and others accused in the case.
“We sent letter rogotaries to six countries seeking assistance to trace some accounts. We are awaiting their reply. Based on the reply we will file another charge sheet,” Narayana told PTI. “The CBI received replies from three countries–– Malaysia, Mauritius and Singapore. We are yet to receive information from the US, Britain and the Virgin Islands,” CBI sources said.
Two months ago, through an LR, the CBI had sought information from six countries regarding various financial transactions of Satyam, which is now known as Mahindra Satyam since its takeover by the Mahindras last April.
Meanwhile, the special CBI court here posted the hearing of the Satyam case to May 12.
