Addressing the Youth Congress workers’ interactive session near Kasargod on Monday, the elections will be held in a transparent and truthful manner. “Youth Congress is a democratic organisation. Even if there is difference of opinion it should be solved through healthy debates,” he said.
Rahul said the groupism in the Youth Congress has significantly come down and the change was evident in the elections held in Tamil Nadu and Punjab, recently.
Rahul Gandhi said that only able leadership can propel a democratic country like India to lead the world.
Rahul evoked applause for his sharp and precise answers to the questions posed by large gathering which included doctors, engineers amongst thousands of party wokers. The interaction lasted for about 45 minutes. He however refused to interact with the media.
Rahul Gandhi flew from Cariftur airport in an helicopter and landed at Kasargod municipal grounds. Security was beefed up by deploying nearly 2,000 policemen on duty. Mobile jammers were installed in the auditorium.
