The plot of the play revolves around the sale of an old depleted mansion in the outskirts of the city to a rich foreign widow. The cook at the mansion is quick witted and very intelligent in solving his master's problems. Eventually, the cook along with his master get embroiled in a complicated affair involving fake bookies, stolen gems, a wealthy widow and a big game hunter. But, the imperturbable valet of the cook succeeds in resolving matters to the satisfaction of all parties.

This will be Rajendra Karanth’s 40th play and is adapted from the most celebrated and legendary playwright of English Literature P G Wodehouse. Karanth has made brilliant contributions to the Kannada theatre for the past 25 years and is popular for his indigenous style and free flowing language.

VASP was started by four young, enterprising and very passionate theatre practitioners, whose sole intention is to promote theatre activities and performing arts.
