Aamir cancels shoot, attends assistant's wedding

The actor-filmmaker came on Sunday evening along with his wife Kiran Rao cancelling all his commercial shoots and other professional commitments. Guess what he gave as wedding gift to his assistant? If sources are to be believed he has gifted him a house in Mumbai!
Sudhakar is the son of Kushe Gowda and Rajeshwari of Jattenahalli village in the taluk. He has been working with Aamir Khan as his assistant since the last five years in Mumbai.

Aamir came along with Kiran and his in-laws on Sunday night to the groom’s house and spent time talking to the family members. Later, he stayed in Cholenahalli. He came on Monday morning for the ‘muhurtam’ to the Government Samudaya Bhavan and wished Sudhakar and his bride Mamata. He left for Bangalore later.

The legion of his fans surrounded the superstar for a photo-op and his autograph and he obliged all of them.  The groom’s father Kushe Gowda said: “I have been in the Hindi film industry since the last 35 years. After my son Sudhakar Gowda completed his BCom, I took him to Mumbai and introduced him to Khan’s wife Kiran Rao.”

“This entire week was kept aside for Aamir to finish shooting some commercials. But he suddenly had to cancel all his work commitments as he heard of Sudhakar’s marriage. The wedding date got finalised just a week ago so Aamir decided to cancel all his shoots and attend the marriage,” sources close to the actor said.

Aamir was keen on attending the two-day wedding celebrations despite his work schedule. The actor was there for Sudhakar like a family member, they said. The actor immediately contacted ad filmmakers to cancel his shoots.
