Water problem will be solved on priority: MLA

District administration ignores peoples suffering

Protests and dharnas have become a common occurence in the district demanding water supply.

On Friday women from Kondarajanahalli stageda protest displaying empty pots and demanded that the water problem be solved.
Responding to it MLA Varthur Prakash came to the spot where the women were protesting and heard their woes.  Immediate steps will be taken to solve water problem in the village, he promised.

 The women complained that they were suffering from acute water shortage problems and the gram panchayat officials were neglecting their plight.  MLA Varthur Prakash assured that he would bring pressure on the chief minister to solve water problem in the taluk. He also promised to get bore wells sunk in the village.

Following his assurence the women ended their protest.
MLA Prakash later visited  and felicitated the newly elected Arhalli gram panchayat members.
