As I stood beneath the trees

I awakened one morning…
As golden rays of sunshine
Brightened the day with their warm light…
Beneath the trees stood I
Marveling nature’s beauty…
Enriched with the breath taking view
My heart rejoicing at the sight
 
The tall majestic mountains ,
Their heads held ever high
Gurgling streams that glittered
And the creepers that twisted and twined….
The vast expanse of the sky
In hues and shades of blue…
Where winged beauties gracefully glided
My heart longed to fly there too!

With the swaying of the trees
And twittering birds
With the rustling leaves
And song of the earth…
My heart with joy leaped
As I stood beneath the trees….
