The report prepared by a one man expert committee under the chairmanship of C Krishnappa, IAS (Retd) for determining market value of properties to be acquired for North and South extension corridors was prepared in December 2009 and February 2010 respectively and placed before the 34th BMRCL board meeting held in March.
It has all details on valuation of affected land parcels, properties to be notified for acquisition, identification of stretches, valuation estimation and also market value.
UDD has accorded approval for acceptance of two valuation reports of 30 pages each in respect of Reach 3A (For north extended metro corridor till Peenya Industrial Estate) and Reach 4A (For south extended metro corridor till Puttenahalli). A GO (Government Order) dated June 23, 2010 states that release of Rs 150 crore has been released under loan account from the Government of Karnataka.
