Jackie Chan wants to adopt Jaden Smith

The actor and producer worked with Jaden, the son of Hollywood star Will Smith, in the new movie 'Karate Kid' and was impressed with his skill in martial arts, reported Mirror online.

"After the movie I tell his parents, 'Let him stay in China for three months'. Trust me. I will take care of him. I'm sure with three months' training he can get much better, because he has this kind of talent," said Chan.

"Whatever I teach him he learns right away. Besides, he can sing, he can dance, he can rap. He just has talent. I tell Will Smith, 'Can I adopt your son?' That's how much I love him," he added.

In the film, Chan teaches Jaden karate so he can defend himself from bullies. And the legend thinks he absolutely has a gift for it.

"He's the young Jackie Chan," said the 56-year-old actor.
Will and his actress wife Jada Pinkett put together the project especially for Jaden, who'd already appeared with his father in 'The Pursuit of Happyness', and with Keanu Reeves in 'The Day The Earth Stood Still'.
