Woman 'pushed' from fourth floor dies

A Seema (24) was allegedly lifted and thrown behind the house by her in-laws on the morning of January 12. After battling for life for nearly seven months, she died at 8:15 am at the Bhagwan Mahaveer Jain Hospital due to multiple organ failure.

According to Seema's father Ashwath, his daughter was allegedly harassed by her husband Ravi Kumar as "he had an affair with another girl and wanted to get rid of Seema."
Kumar's family went in hiding for four and a half months and reappeared only after getting an anticipatory bail.

Following the incident, a case of attempt to murder under Section 307 of the IPC was booked. Now, a case of murder has been booked. The body will be handed over to the family after the post-mortem at the Victoria Hospital.
Seema got married to Kumar on February 8, 2007 and had a two-and-half old child, Arshith.
