JOIN USClinical KSP storm past gritty Blues
Playing on the wooden floor for the first time in four weeks, both the teams had trouble adjusting to the bounce but with Sanat Ram (13) and Mahesh (16) playing well in the paint, KSP slowly gathered momentum on their offence and finishing the second quarter with a 33-16 lead.
The Blues, relying heavily on their man-to-man defence, made life hard for KSP’s point guards but it was their offence that let them down. Their inability to convert when they had their chances proved their undoing while KSP continued to score at the other end to notch up their fourth win in as many matches.
In another match, star centre Abhishek (13) powered National Games Village Jazz to a 48-43 win over Young Orions Bulls.
Karan (16) and Rajesh (9) led the Young Orions to a 22-18 lead at half-time but Abhishek, ably aided by power forward Nishant (9), turned the tide with his inspirational performance in the third and fourth quarters.
