Ellipsis, Adreel inaugurated

“The medium of advertisement may change but advertisement will always remain and hence there is a permanent scope in this field,” he opined.

“Film club and ad club is a new initiative by the department whose main motive is to familiarise the students with the subject and hence help them to research and analyse,” informed Mass Communication Department Head Rev Dr Richard Rego.

Ellipsis shall have movie screenings for the public every 2nd and 4th Saturday followed by discussions and analysis. It shall also undertake seminars, workshops and organise film festivals. Adreel is a forum to exchange ideas about advertising and to learn about industry trends to analyse historic and contemporary advertising motives. The meeting will be held every Tuesday afternoon.
