It was not just another normal day in the college as the campus was decorated in a traditional way.

The energy levels were quite high as the campus was bursting with enthusiasm and passion.

The faculty and students from different cultures, regions and languages joined hands to celebrate and showcase their respective regional cultures and traditions to everyone present on campus.

The celebration started with a welcome address by the campus director, vice-principal and principal of T-John College.

The students not only donned an ethnic attire but also showcased various traditional performances.

This was followed by ethnic dances — both solo and group performances, songs and fashion shows at the college lawn.  Simultaneously, the ‘rangoli’ and cooking competition were also organised.

A few awards were also given away during the function. The ‘Best Teacher Award’ went to Sourish Jana of the BHM Department from the undergraduation section and Mohini Bhat from the QT Department of the postgraduation section.

The event also saw the participation of many international student studying in the college.  A team from Rwanda won the group dance competition. Mr and Miss Ethnic were also chosen amongst the participants.
