"Party has enough leaders. Many new leaders have come up and they shall hold the mantle", Advani, who is Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, said.

Reacting to the victory of Congress in the recent Lok Sabha polls, the BJP leader, who is on a holiday in this picturesque coffee town, said he respected the verdict of the people and BJP was all set to function effectively as an opposition.

Advani said the fact that both BJP and Congress could fetch three digit seats in the election was a pointer that people had confidence in BJP also.

Going down memory lane, he said it was his second visit to Kodagu and apart from addressing election rallies, he had visited Field Marshall late K M Cariappa, who was his "good friend" here long time ago.

Even as the scribes posed more questions, Advani quipped "I shall have a cup of coffee with you but no more questions on politics. I am on a political holiday".
