Hello Readers. Iranian state television acknowledged high death toll in nationwide protests, saying country had a lot of martyrs. 'Iran earlier eased some restrictions on its people and, for the first time in days, allowed them to make phone calls abroad via their mobile phones even as US President Donald Trump announced a 25 per cent tariff on any country doing business with Iran, ramping up the pressure. Trump later also urged protestors to continue with stir, saying 'help is on its way'. Elsewhere, EU chief proposed sanctions on Iran after 'horrifying' rise in casualties. UN human rights chief said the deaths amid the stir are in hundreds while Iranian officials said 2,000 ⁠people ‌were killed.
