The arrested include aides of Ajith Kumar Singh who died in an encounter on September 9 in Bagalur.
Junaid Ahmed Shariff (23) and Syed Salman (27) of Bangalore and Salim Khan (42) from Hyderabad, admitted to 16 car theft cases during the interrogation. Three more men of the gang are still absconding.
The Pulakeshinagar police said the suspects used to change the registration number of the cars stolen at Bangalore, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Goa and sell them in other states using forged documents.
The Ulsoor police have arrested three persons charged with burglaries at Ulsoor, SR Nagar, KR Puram, Hulimavu, Subramanyapura and Banashankari. Nagaraju (42), Kadrivelu (29) and Ganesh (29) were allegedly involved in more than 30 cases of burglary.
The police have also recovered gold ornaments worth Rs 20 lakh.
