Will not contest general elections, says former Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar

Former Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar on Saturday announced that she will not be contesting the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

"I will continue to work for the cause of social justice, inclusive growth and the empowerment of women," she said in a post on X.
