Engineering student commits suicide

An engineering college student committed suicide by jumping off a building in Mangaluru on Wednesday.

Police said that the deceased, Guruprasad was a resident of Jeppinamogaru. He was a student of an engineering college situated on the outskirts of the city.

It is reported that Guruprasad was suffering from depression for the last few days.

His father Manoj, dropped him at Kankanady before leaving for work in the morning. Instead of going to college, Guruprasad ended his life by jumping off a building.
