<p class="bodytext">Taking a break from crime thrillers, director Sri Ganesh presents a family drama, which narrates the story of the struggles a family faces while trying to realise the dream of owning a 3 BHK.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The film is inspired by the eponymous short story by engineer-turned-writer Aravindh Sachidanandam.</p>.<p class="bodytext">It is patriarch Vasudevan’s ambition to have a home of his own. He believes “a house is not just a place of residence, it is also a family’s identity, prestige and respect”.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Sri Ganesh could have taken the path less trodden and turned his film into a searing critique of the system.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Instead, he opted to make it a feel good family melodrama that will strike a chord with every viewer. He has packed his film with all possible problems and pitfalls a family could confront while trying to achieve their dream. Each of them has to surmount individual challenges and make sacrifices to fulfill the goal. </p>.<p class="bodytext">With a well written script and meaningful dialogues, Sri Ganesh presents a relatable and moving family saga that unfolds at a languid pace.</p>.<p class="bodytext">It is a convincing portrayal by the film’s ensemble cast. The seasoned Shivakumar and Devayani, earlier paired in ‘Suryavamsam’, play the role of the parents, while Siddharth plays the son.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The film’s comedic track is provided by Yogi Babu, who is cast as the real estate broker. Chaithra J Achar of Kannada film ‘Sapta Sagaradaache Ello’ plays Siddharth’s love interest. The film is also aided by a soulful background score by debutant Amrit Ramnath, the son of well-known playback singer Bombay Jayashri.</p>
