<p>Filmmaker Hemanth M Rao, on Wednesday, announced his next film 6<em>66 Operation Dream Theatre</em>, starring Daali Dhananjaya and Shivarajkumar in lead roles. It was announced on the occasion of Shivarajkumar’s 40 years in cinema. The actor’s first film as the lead, <em>Anand</em>, hit theatres on June 18, 1986. </p><p>Dhananjaya and Shivarajkumar were last seen together in Tagaru and </p><p>Produced by Vaishak J Gowda, the film’s first look, an animated teaser was released. </p> .<p>Vaishak, who is a doctor by profession was earlier supposed to foray into the industry as a producer with the Shivarajkumar-starrer Bhairavana Kone Paata helmed by Hemanth, announced last year.</p><p>“Bhairavana Kone Paata is taking time, so I didn’t want to do a film with somebody else as I really wanted to work with Shivarajkumar. Having him in the film is an awesome feeling,” Hemanth told DH. </p> .<p><em>666 Operation Dream Theatre</em> is a retro spy thriller, according to Hemanth. “I grew up watching a lot of James Bond films, Operation Diamond Racket… This movie is my attempt at something in that space,” he told <em>DH</em>. </p><p>We’re building a lot of sets, he said, also adding “We’re mounting the film on a big scale, and we’ll need about 90-100 days of shooting.” The film’s sets are being designed by art director Vishwas Kashyap. They’re yet to finalise the film’s female lead. </p> .<p>Hemanth will begin to shoot the film next month and the makers are planning for a release next year. </p><p>The <em>Sapta Sagaradache Ello</em> director will be collaborating with music composer Charan Raj again — for the fourth time. Advaita Gurumurthy will helm 666 Operation Dream Theatre’s cinematography.</p><p>Dhananjaya also has an interesting set of films lined up — Anna from Mexico directed by Shankar Guru of Badava Rascal fame, Jingo by Shashank Soghal of Daredevil Mustafa and the historical drama Halagali by Sukesh Nayak.</p>
