Rana Daggubati replaces Abhishek in RGV's 'Department'

"Due to date problems to match combinations with other actors I am going ahead with Rana Daggubati instead of Abhishek Bachchan in Department," Varma tweeted today.

Incidentally, Telugu actor Daggubati has made his Bollywood debut with recently released
'Dum Maro Dum', starring alongside junior Bachchan.

Daggubati plays a Goan musician in the Rohan Sippy-directed film, a role which was initially meant for Abhishek, who is busy shooting for his upcoming film 'Players' these days.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan is reportedly playing the lead role of a gangster turned politician in 'Department'.
