Despite a prime Eid release window, the film's underwhelming narrative led to a disappointing box office finish, earning approximately Rs 180 crore against a heavy production cost of over Rs 200 crore.

M3GAN 2.0

M3GAN 2.0 struggled to stand out in 2025’s competitive summer blockbuster window. By stripping away the "horror bite" that made the predecessor a cult hit, the sequel lost its core identity. Despite the Blumhouse pedigree, the film’s transition into an action-led narrative proved to be a costly miscalculation.

War 2

War 2 emerged as one of the biggest flops in 2025, falling far short of its ambitious Rs 400 crore production cost. The Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR starrer managed only to collect Rs 236 crore domestically, and its inability to recover even its production costs led trade analysts to label it a disaster.

Baaghi 4

The fourth installment of the Baaghi franchise, featuring Tiger Shroff alongside Sanjay Dutt and Harnaaz Sandhu, ended as a major box-office bomb. Heavily criticised for its graphic violence and weak screenplay, the actioner failed to resonate with audiences, grossing a mere Rs 66 crore worldwide against its high production costs.

Despite the franchise's legacy, Mastiii 4 crashed with a disappointing Rs 11.52 crore net in India. Criticised for its dated humour and weak screenplay, the film struggled to even surpass its predecessors. After failing to recover its production costs, the movie was officially labelled a box-office dud.

Tron Ares

Tron: Ares was one of the most costly "box office bombs" in 2025, grossing only $142 million on a $220 million investment. Critics tagged the film for choosing spectacle over a cohesive story. By distancing itself from its cult-classic roots, the film failed to connect with both legacy fans and new viewers alike.

Made on a massive budget of Rs 60 crore, the film finished with an Rs 22 crore lifetime haul, officially labelling the political drama a big box office failure.
