<p>Indian armed forces in the wee hours of Wednesday carried out a precision missile attack on nine terror targets inside Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir as part of 'Operation Sindoor.' </p><p>"A little while ago, the Indian Armed forces launched 'Operation Sindoor' hitting terrorist infrastructure in <a href="https://www.deccanherald.com/tags/pakistan">Pakistan</a> and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir from where terrorist attacks against India have been planned and directed," the Army said.</p><p>It said the actions by the Indian Armed forces have been "focused, measured and non-escalatory in nature."</p><p>"No Pakistani military facilities have been targeted. It took another three-four days to ensure the strategy to target terror infrastructures in Pakistan and Pakistan-occuiped Kashmir were sound. </p><p>According to the sources, India displayed agility, continuousky adapting to ensure the terrorist intelligence networks were kept in the dark, thus preventing them from anticipating India’s response.</p><p>It is interesting to note that following the Uri and Pulwama attack, India responded in 12 days. Following the recent Pahalgam attack which took the lives of 26 people, the Indian Army responded in 13 days. </p><p>The publication quoted a source saying, "The most notable fact in all these actions is that Prime Minister Narendra Modi continued monitoring throughout the night during all these operations.
