3,000 babies born at Nashik Civil Hospital in six months

Gynaecology Department of Nashik Civil Hospital carried out over 3,000 deliveries of babies in the first six months of this year. 48% of babies were born between April and June, when Covid 2nd wave was at peak. Dr Ashok Thorat, Civil Surgeon of the hospital informed about their preparations and preclusions and said, “We made special preparations for Covid and non-Covid deliveries. This is the result of hard work of gynaecologists, paediatricians and all our doctors.”
