6th India Water Impact Summit concludes

The 6th edition of the India Water Impact Summit concluded on December 14. The valedictory session was conducted in a hybrid mode by NMCG, New Delhi and cGanga, Kanpur. The India water impact summit was a five-day event that was conducted between December 9 and December 14. It was conducted in the presence of Bisweshwar Tudu, Minister of State, Ministry of Jal Shakti. This year’s theme was 'River Resources Allocation: Planning and management at the regional level'. It had various sessions on science, economics, policy and law & governance. During the session, Bisweshwar Tudu congratulated the NMCG and cGanga for their remarkable efforts. The ‘Leather Trade Information Portal’, which is a unique digital portal developed by Namami Gange and Solidaridad was also launched. The MoU was signed between NMCG and the Centre for Policy Research, New Delhi. Both organisations shall work together to collaborate in research and knowledge production activities.
