<p>Thiruvananthapuram: Amrita University has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Indian Navy for research, innovation, and technological development in the defence sector.</p><p>According to a statement from the Coimbatore headquartered Amrita University, Southern Naval Command chief of staff Rear Admiral Upal Kundu and Amrita University principal director of corporate and industry relations Chulliyil Parameswaran signed the agreement in Kochi on March 7.</p>.Woman held for alleged sexual abuse of 12-yr-old girl in Kerala.<p>The partnership involves research and development activities in all nine campuses of the university in various fields with the aim of strengthening the country's self-reliance in defence technology.
