<p class="title">The BJP will hold its national executive in the national capital on September 8 and 9 during which it is expected to chalk out its Dalit outreach programmes ahead of the Lok Sabha elections.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The meeting was earlier scheduled to be held on August 18 and 19 but former prime minister A B Vajpayee's death on August 16 prompted the leadership to postpone the conclave.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Around 350 BJP leaders, including Union ministers, chief ministers, central and state office-bearers, will attend the meeting that will discuss the preparedness of the party in the upcoming elections to Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan Assemblies.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The conclave is expected to discuss Dalit outreach programmes ahead of the polls. The Dalit communities were upset with the government for the past couple of years after they become target of cow vigilantes.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The party wants to highlight the steps taken by the NDA government to address the dilution of SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities Act following the Supreme Court order.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Sources said this national executive could be the last one before the General Elections and could see an extensive discussion on the preparations for it. </p>
