<p>Curfew, strike and communication clampdown continued in Kashmir Valley on 16th consecutive day on Sunday with two more persons succumbing to their injuries, taking the death toll to 51.<br /><br /></p>.<p>A youth, who had been hit by a bullet in abdomen near Pampore in Pulwama on July 10, succumbed to his injuries at the tertiary care hospital SKIMS here this morning. <br /><br />A policeman, who was injured critically in a blast at Yaripora area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on July 15, also succumbed to injuries in the morning at the same hospital.<br /><br />With this, the total number of deaths during the past 16 days of violence following Hizbul commander Burhan Wani’s killing on July 8 has mounted to 51. <br /><br />The dead include two policemen. <br /><br />Thousands of people, including security forces personnel have been injured in over two weeks of violence. <br /><br />Meanwhile, the curfew, shutdown and protests amid mobile phone and internet blockade continued across the Valley with separatists again extending the strike call till July 29. <br /></p>
