Courts must explicitly delineate inferences in cases drawing on circumstantial evidence: Supreme Court

The court also said each of the links of incriminating circumstantial evidence should be meticulously examined so as to find out if each one of the circumstances can be proved individually and whether, collectively taken, they constitute an unbroken chain of evidence consistent only with the hypothesis of the guilt of the accused and totally inconsistent with his innocence.
