Cyclone Jawad: NDRF conducts awareness program, asks people to move to safer places

In view of Cyclone Jawad, NDRF conducted awareness program in Digha town of Purba Medinipur district in West Bengal on December 04. Team Commandant of 2nd Batallion, NDRF M Kalaiyarasan said, “Light rainfall has already started and wind speed is expected to increase in a few hours. We are asking people in the coastal areas of old and new Digha to move to safer places. Our awareness program is still underway.”
