<p>Delhi government today offered a job of assistant manager to the sister of TV journalist Akshay Singh, who had died mysteriously while covering stories on the Vyapam scam.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Pakshi Singh has been offered the post of assistant manager (legal) with the Delhi State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (DSIIDC), a government official said.<br /><br />"Pakshi has been offered the post of legal assistant manager in DSIIDC in the Pay Band-2 of Rs 5200-20200+2400 (Grade Pay) plus allowance," the official said.<br /><br />Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia had on July 8 visited Akshay Singh's Mayur Vihar residence and offered a government job to her sister even as they also demanded an independent probe into the circumstances leading to the scribe's death in Bhopal.<br /><br />After meeting Singh's family members, Sisodia had said, "The whole family is in a state of shock. They have lost their young son who was the only earning member of their family. We have offered them full financial assistance and a job for his sister soon which they need at this point."<br /><br />Akshay Singh had died mysteriously on June 4 after interviewing parents of a girl who was found dead after her name figured in the massive admission and recruitment scandal in Madhya Pradesh known as Vyapam scam.</p>
