Differences need to be mended immediately: Smriti Irani on gender inequality

Union Minister for Women & Child Development, Smriti Irani on March 05 addressed a virtual summit and spoke on gender inequality. While speaking through video conferencing, Irani said, “For competitive exams, girls don't get that much financial support as compared to boys. This bias begins when girl child is given kitchen set or dolls to play with while boys are given toy truck or lego set. It needs to be mended immediately.”
