The Mumbai Press Club is located just opposite. </p></li><li><p><strong><ins>Taj Mahal Palace and Tower</ins>: </strong>It faces Gateway of India, a landmark of Mumbai and India. The hotel is frequented by foreign tourists and businessmen and incidentally it is just adjacent to the office of the Department of Atomic Energy and a stone’s throw from Maharashtra Police headquarters. </p></li><li><p><strong><ins>Oberoi-Trident Hotel</ins>: </strong>Located at the south end of Marine Drive, a popular hotel frequented by foreign tourists and businessmen. It is very near to the Air-India headquarters, the national carrier. The target was very close to the business district of Nariman Point, Mantralaya, the state headquarters, Vidhan Bhavan, the Maharashtra Legislature.</p></li><li><p><strong><ins>Leopold Café, Colaba</ins>: </strong>This is located in Colaba and is a popular rendezvous joint for foreigners and the elite. Located just opposite the Colaba police station. The headquarters of BEST, the civic transporter, is not far away. Colaba Causeway is a shopper’s paradise.</p></li><li><p><strong><ins>Nariman House</ins>: </strong>Located at upmarket Colaba, it is a Jewish community and outreach centre. Nearby is a popular marketplace for foreigners and very close to INS Kunjali, the Naval helibase.
