<p>Ahmedabad: More than two decades after the 2002 post-Godhra riots, a juvenile justice board on Tuesday found three men, who were minors back then, guilty of their roles in the Sabarmati Express train burning case that killed 59 karsevaks returning from Ayodhya.</p><p>The principal magistrate, juvenile justice board, Godhra, KS Modi pronounced the judgement holding three juveniles guilty and sentenced them to three years in a reform facility along with Rs 15,000 each as fine. Another juvenile suspect was acquitted. </p><p>Officials said there were a total of five juvenile accused who were apprehended by the local police after the train burning case. One of the suspects passed away during the pendency. </p><p>As the investigation into the train burning case was handed over to the Supreme Court-appointed Special Investigation Team (SIT), the case against juveniles was also further investigated by the SIT. </p><p>According to SIT officials, the juveniles were accused of being part of the mob which attacked the passengers and torched S6 of Sabarmati Express train, close to Godhra railway station on February 27, 2002. The incident had led to large scale communal riots in Gujarat.</p><p>In the incident, a total of 134 suspects, including five juveniles, were apprehended by the police. Sources close to the juveniles' family said that most of them were working as daily wagers.</p>
