A mob on Friday set the DSP’s car on fire in Gujarat's Sabarkantha after a young man died in an accident, news agency PTI reported.

Protesting villagers blocked the National Highway near the Sabarkantha village, following the accident, DD News reported.

Police had lathicharged and fired tear gas canisters to disperse the crowd, the publication added.
